I created GetSoulNotes not just as a licensed social worker, but as a mother.
When my daughter bravely released her first book, Seasoned with Purpose, she opened up about her lifelong battle with depression. And even though I’m trained in counseling, and I work every day with young people in crisis, I missed some of the signs in my own home.
